How to Play Chicken Fire: Rules, Buys & RTP

Bets, the paytable, Coin + Collect, Hold & Win, jackpots, bonus buys and the 95.90% RTP. One page, then the free demo.

Step 1: Set your bet

Tap the coin or stake control and pick a bet from $1.00 to $100.00 (same in euros or pounds). There's no sub-dollar stake, so even a "small" session still needs a real bankroll. A simple cap: keep the stake around 1% of what you can lose today. Example: $300 bankroll, $1 a spin.

Step 2: Spin the reels

Hit Spin, or turn on Autoplay (usually 10-100 spins, with an optional stop-on-bonus). The grid is 3 reels by 3 rows, 5 paylines. Wins pay left to right for three matching symbols. Low fruit hits a lot in the base game. The real spike is in the bonus. On a phone it sits in portrait. No dedicated app, no APK.

Step 3: Understand the symbols

Payouts below are for 3 of a kind, as multiples of your bet. This is BGaming's published paytable.

Step 4: Trigger the bonus game

You need three pieces at once: Coin on reel 1, Collect on reel 2, Coin on reel 3. Coins only show on the sides in the base game. Collect only shows in the center. That's why the vertical layout puts reel 2 right in front of you.

If you're hunting the bonus, turn on Chance x2 (1.5x bet). It doubles how often the bonus shows up. Pile of Gold can also dump you into the round at random.

Step 5: Play the Hold & Win bonus

The round starts with 3 respins. Only Coins, Collects and Chicken Multipliers appear. A new symbol resets respins to 3. Collects stick until the end. Chickens leave x2 on their cell; extra chickens on the same cell add +1. The round ends when respins hit 0 or the 3x3 is full.

Step 6: Collect your winnings

At the end, coin values get added up (after any cell multipliers) and paid. Jackpot symbols pay their fixed prize the moment they land. You don't need Collect to cash them.

Mini25x~1 in 20 bonuses
Minor50x~1 in 50 bonuses
Major150x~1 in 200 bonuses
Grand1,000x~1 in 1,000+ bonuses

These frequencies are our estimates for planning, not BGaming's certified odds. Treat Grand like a lottery ticket inside an already expensive bonus. The 5,000x max win is jackpots plus multipliers plus a packed grid, not one lucky symbol.

Pile of Gold can randomly trigger the bonus. Watch for the overlay instead of mashing skip on every spin.

Bonus buys: 60x vs 90x vs 120x

Buys skip the wait. They don't improve RTP. Use a dedicated buy bankroll, not the last of the session roll.

Super90xHigher-volatility mixYou already accept dead buys
Ultra120xStarts with 3 CollectsHigh rollers / Grand hunting

Chance x2 costs 1.5x bet per spin and doubles trigger rate. If you're planning 100+ spins, Chance x2 is often cheaper than three 60x buys. If you want the bonus this minute, buy.

$300Standard or Super$1.003-5
$500+Any option$1-$24-8

Don't buy at $100/spin unless $6,000+ is entertainment money. Never chase a dead Ultra with another Ultra.

Buys are the fastest way to burn a bankroll at 95.90% RTP. If you will use them in a real session, do it with a deposit cap set in the cashier first.

RTP, volatility and bankroll

BGaming lists 95.90% RTP, medium-high volatility and a hit rate of about 1 in 9. RTP is a long-run average, not a promise for your session. That's a bit under the 96-97% you see on a lot of modern slots. You pay a slightly fatter house edge for a 5,000x cap and four jackpots. Chicken Rush from the same studio sits at 97%. Fire is the portrait Hold & Win loop.

Same studio, different loop. Fire is the 3x3 Hold & Win cabinet.

BGaming doesn't publish per-buy RTPs. Treat Standard, Super and Ultra as a faster way to spend, not a grind with an edge. Practice the pattern on the free demo first. More questions: FAQ.

Autoplay and turbo: what they change, what they don't

Autoplay runs 10-100 spins for you, optionally stopping on a bonus. Turbo skips part of the win animation. Neither one touches the maths: RTP, hit rate and the bonus trigger probability are identical whether you tap the button or hand it to autoplay.

What they do change is pace and, for most people, spending. A 100-spin autoplay at $1 is $100 that disappears in a few minutes without a single decision. If you use autoplay, decide the spin count and the stop condition before you press it, and never leave a session on autoplay while you are doing something else.

Six mistakes we see in Chicken Fire sessions

  1. Chasing a dead Ultra. A 120x buy that returns nothing is a signal to stop, not to buy again. The next bonus is not "due".
  2. Buying bonuses with the session roll. A buy needs its own bankroll. Buying with money you were going to spin with leaves you with zero.
  3. Ignoring the $1 floor. There is no micro-stake mode, so a "small" session is still real money. Size stake at about 1% of the bankroll.
  4. Enabling Chance x2 without counting. Paying 1.5x a spin to double trigger rate only pays off over dozens of spins, not five.
  5. Playing with a bonus you have not read. Max bet while wagering can void a promotion after a single oversized spin.
  6. Using autoplay as a strategy. It removes the decision points, not the house edge.

Chicken Fire glossary

  • Hold & Win: the bonus loop. Coins stick where they land and respins reset every time a new symbol appears.
  • Coin: the value symbol, only on the outer reels during the base game. Its multiplier is paid if a Collect is on screen.
  • Collect: the basket in the centre reel. Without at least one, coins do not pay.
  • Respins: the bonus starts with 3. Any new Coin, Collect or chicken resets the counter to 3.
  • Chicken multiplier: in the bonus the chicken leaves x2 on its cell. Extra chickens on the same cell add +1.
  • Pile of Gold: a random overlay that can force the bonus round without the Coin + Collect + Coin trigger.
  • Chance x2: a 1.5x-bet toggle that doubles how often the bonus triggers.
  • Volatility: how the RTP is distributed. Medium-high means frequent small wins, most of the value in the bonus and jackpots.
  • RTP: return to player over the long run, 95.90% here. It is an average across millions of spins, never a session promise.

Put it into practice

Everything above works in the free demo and in a real-money lobby. The rules, the Coin + Collect bonus and the 95.90% RTP are identical; only the balance is real.
